we have a windowed room jjust for plants in the house we bought but mom wont let me put my plants inside! i dont want my herbs to die and my only choice is the cold garage 🙁

the reason your plants grow better under that light is because it’s probably a CFL, if people try this with wrong lights there plants will not be as healthy.

Thanks for making this video. have a good day!

In USA it does… not here in the UK though. I find it strange the way our cousins over the water say Oregano and Basil as well. Sounds so alien to me!

You pronounce it one way, someone else pronounces it another. It’s called dialect. God. People are so obsessed over a grammar situation to appreciate the fact this woman is giving great information. I’m only a 13 year old girl yet I’m more mature then you fools. :/

She said that the herbs seem to do okay in just a regular kitchen light. is that really true? i bought a bundle of starter herbs at the grocer and i had no idea that they had a plant light for it. im in kansas and we are still in frost and my basil is not doing so well. they lost the lower leaves and are going twiggy. i have it in a warm room, water it well, but its just the sun i am missing. i’ve looked for a plant light but i was wondering if regular light will work while i look for a light.

  17. prolifepinay

yes, so long as it’s bright enough. no need for a fancy grow light.
