I have to agree with that, but it’s so hard for us northern gardeners to see more grass then garden at this time of year ha ha. Carry on!

thanks in Alexandria Va for 54 weeks then home to Leander. got some outside space the other day but will try and sprout the dill on my southfacing patio in homemade earthboxes. The ground plot I can borrow for a year is covered in a freak snowstorm has been producing chinese cabbage, Kale and swiss chard thru the winter. 6 plots using it in the 150 plots of our community garden use green mulch (rye). Have you heard of anyone doing that in Texas? Wanna outfox the stickerburrs in my backyard.

My dill came up pretty leggy and weak. I used a seed starter mix. I wonder if dill is best started in soil?

I found that dill is best grown right in the ground and just keep moist
